As of 03.02.205, PPG Industries Delfzijl. has officially changed its name to QEMETICA NL Silica B.V. This change reflects the acquisition of the precipitated silica business from PPG by QEMETICA at the end of 2024.

We are known for our cutting-edge facilities, strong commitment to sustainable development, transforming business models, and relentless focus on customer satisfaction. Expanding into the silica business is a natural evolution of our capabilities, as we aim to make investments to increase capacity and drive the business growth.
We are well known in Europe, but this is our first foray into the U.S. market and it marks a milestone in our company’s strategy!
